History, Culture, vineyards, villages, the Morainic Amphitheater view and the majestic elegance of the Historic Houses of the Canavese will be the main protagonists of this itinerary. The Parella Castle will be the first small jewel we will meet starting from Romano Canavese, passing in front of Villa Giuseppe Giacosa a famous playwright writer and librettist of the late ‘800.

We will go up along a panoramic road embellished by the characteristic vineyards of Erbaluce, typical Canavesano wine, which degrade along the Morena; the distant view of the “Red Castle” will signal us that we will be almost at the end of the climb that will end when we reach the village of Loranzé from where  we will enjoy a fabulous panorama. We resume our itinerary to the ancient “Ponte Preti” for  crossing of the Chiusella stream (an important communication route that connected Augusta Taurinorum was already functioning in the 1st century AD (Turin) with Eporedia (Ivrea) and then with Augusta Pretoria (Aosta). Continuing the itinerary we will come to admire Torre Canavese with its Castle and after still descending through the pretty village of Bairo Canavese we will take the dirt road along the historic Canale di Caluso to reach the well-known Ducal Castle of Aglié immersed in a fairytale park. On the way back, we pass by  “Villa Meleto” Guido Gozzano poet house museum, West Morena, first rich in luxuriant vineyards of Erbaluce kissed by the sun and then in pristine woods, encountering pretty perched villages, churches and sanctuaries. Once in Vialfré we will go back down on a road that was initially very scenic and much loved by two-wheel enthusiasts; then a stretch on the plain to return to Romano Canavese. In this itinerary there will certainly be the opportunity to take breaks to discover and photograph the variety of Canavese landscapes and for enthusiasts to enjoy food and wine interludes at the numerous producers of wines and typical products, transforming this adventure on two wheels into a “tour Canavesano food “truly unforgettable.
