Dunarobba Castle and Fossil Forest

The circular route can be taken directly from the hotel avenue. After the first descent begins a long dirt climb that will take us to high altitude through the “Crete”, hills of considerable interest and arriving then to DUNAROBBA CASTLE known throughout the world for its “FOSSIL FOREST” .

Continuing toward the ANCIENT “MESTAIOLA” Church dedicated to Santa Eurosia was built by the Corsini princes a few centuries ago to protect their properties.

If you take a little detour on the way, it is possible to admire the castle of SISMANO, an ancient medieval manor with its fantastic Village.

On the way back, right in front of the church of the Santa, you will cross Nostra Amerina towards Todi.

Through woods and beautiful views, you will arrive under the walls of the ANTICA TUTERE (TODI) and then returning to the hotel going back to the dirt cycle path that runs along the NAIA stream.
